Payments due policy for online courses and in-person workshops
For online courses, the registration fee must be paid in full by the end date of the course. You will receive a confirmation email upon completing your registration, which contains instructions for how to pay the course fee if you have not already paid it upon registering.
For workshops, the full payment is due the first business day after the workshop takes place. Unless otherwise stated, you may not pay in person at the workshop. Please contact the UW-Madison Conference Center Registrations Office at 608-262-2451 to pay over the phone.
Information about required textbooks
If a course description lists a required textbook, the student is expected to purchase or obtain their own copy prior to the course start date. Books may be obtained through a retailer, book rental service, or library. Paper or e-Book copies are acceptable.
Online Courses Cancellation Policy
The fee to cancel your registration in an online course is $15.00 at any time before the course begins and during the first week of the course, even if you have not yet paid your registration fee. Cancellations made in the second week and beyond may result in higher cancellation fees.
If you need to cancel before the beginning of the online course, please contact the UW-Madison Conference Center Registrations Office at 608-262-2451. If you need to cancel after the beginning of your course or have extenuating circumstances surrounding your registration, please contact Meredith Lowe (608-890-0364) or Anna Palmer (608-263-4452) so that we can discuss cancellation options with you.
Workshops Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated in the workshop description, the fee to cancel a workshop registration is $15 up to 24 hours before the workshop, even if you have not yet paid your registration fee. If the registration is not canceled 24 hours before the workshop, the full fee is due regardless of attendance. If you need to cancel your registration for a workshop, please contact the UW-Madison Conference Center Registrations Office at 608-262-2451.
