Corey B. Jackson, the Anna Julia Cooper Postdoctoral Fellow at the iSchool, won an Honorable Mention for the Best Paper Award as part of the 2020 CSCW conference (Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Social Computing). The paper is titled “Shifting forms of Engagement: Volunteer Learning in Online Citizen Science.”
Dr. Jackson also received an Honorable Mention for the Best Paper Award from the International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics this summer. The paper is titled “Methodological Reinforcements: Investigating Work Through Trace Data and Text.”
In Fall 2021, Dr. Jackson will become a faculty member at the iSchool.
