Registrations for in-person attendees are set on a sliding scale. Proof of status or income is not required.
In-Person Fee Structure
- $325 – If you are making $45K or more annually
- $260 – If you are making less than 45K annually
- $200 – If you are a current student
New for 2025, Lead the Way will feature a hybrid track to accommodate virtual attendees. They will have access to opening and closing keynotes along with access to six sessions and recordings, view the virtual schedule here.
Virtual Fee Structure:
- $200 – If you are attending virtually
- $75 – If you are a current student attending virtually
Cancellation Policy:
- If you used a free registration code, please contact the CE Team at ce-info@ischool.wisc.edu to cancel. If you are cancelling a paid registration, please contact the UW-Madison Conference Center Registrations Office at 608-262-2451.
- On or before February 28, 2025: A refund of your registration (and workshop fees if applicable) will be issued, less a $25 cancellation fee.
- March 1 – March 31, 2025: A 50% refund of your registration fee (and workshop fees if applicable) will be issued.
- After April 1, 2025: No refunds will be issued.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct.
Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. Conference participants violating these rules may be removed from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the UW-Madison iSchool conference staff. See full policy
