The iSchool offers an array of services to support your academic program and career goals. Whether you are pursuing a faculty career, a professional career in industry or nonprofit organizations, or are still exploring your career options, we are here to support you every step of the way.
The iSchool’s Graduate Program Manager, Tanya Hendricks Cobb, will help you navigate the wealth of career resources and services available to students at UW-Madison. She provides both one-on-one career support and resources tailored to your unique needs and skills as PhD students, including: career planning, building your professional network, application materials feedback, interview prep and practice, and job offer negotiation resources.
Additional resources and services provided by iSchool Career Services include alumni career panels, professional development workshops and the iSchool Career Toolkit, a website with resources curated just for iSchool Students and alums.

SucccessWorks – the career office for the division of Letters and Science, which includes the iSchool. As iSchool PhD students, you have access to all the services and resources that SuccessWorks provides.
Graduate School Office of Professional Development – iSchool students can utilize tools on this site to assess and address professional development needs through virtual, in-person and on-demand training and tutorials.
Beyond the Professoriate – a career support platform designed specifically to help PhD students plan for and navigate key stages/milestones while in graduate school to be successful in a range of career pathways post-degree.
